Richard Branson's private island home since 1978, run under his Virgin Limited Edition brand and offered two distinct ways: as a full-island exclusive-use buyout of the Great House's eleven bedrooms and ten Balinese-style houses (48 guests standard, extendable with additional bunkrooms to 56 adults plus 14 children), or, during several Individual Stay Weeks (also called Celebration Weeks) scheduled through the year, by the individual room or villa alongside other guests sharing the island. The Great House anchors the property with its bar, dining terrace and master suite occupying the top floor, while the Bali-style houses are scattered around the shoreline, no two alike, several with private plunge pools. The island runs fully staffed and all-inclusive in both booking modes, covering meals, premium drinks, watersports instruction and the boat transfer from Beef Island. A resident population of flamingos, lemurs and giant tortoises, a Balinese spa, tennis court and hillside yoga pavilion round out a property built around total privacy rather than a conventional amenities checklist.
