A contemporary mountain lodge of 18 rooms and 12 suites set on a rock spur directly above Zermatt, entered via an elevator tunnelled into the mountain from the village. The interiors pair American lodge warmth with clean modern lines, and nearly every room has a private balcony framing the village below and the Matterhorn beyond. A spa with sauna, steam bath and outdoor jacuzzi, plus a restaurant led since 2026 by chef Markian Barmettler, complete the picture. It is a member of Design Hotels.
